Partitioning does more than divide a floor. It locks stock away, quietens a room, keeps a sprinkler’s reach, and comes down again when the layout changes. The wall is chosen last: what has to be separated, secured or protected comes first.
Planning the layout
Six things decide the system: security, visibility and airflow, noise and privacy, access points, fire exits and routes, and what may have to move later.
Mesh partitioning and cages
Welded steel panels on posts, standing on the floor or fixed to a racking run. Secure stock, tools, high-value goods, restricted zones, battery charging, tenant separation.
Single-skin
One steel skin, for a simple separation: storage areas, packing, workshops, production, goods-in and despatch.
Solid
An enclosed, private division: secure rooms, workshops, quality control, staff facilities, internal offices.
Double-skin
Two skins with insulation between, for a better finish, a quieter room and more durability: offices, welfare, meeting rooms. The partitioning and workplace page covers the rooms; an office mezzanine puts them over the operation.
Installation
Survey, layout, specification, installation, handover. Planned around the operation, checked before it is handed over.

What is the difference between mesh and solid partitioning?
Mesh gives security while keeping visibility and airflow. Solid gives an enclosed, private area, which suits offices, workshops and secure stores.
Can partitioning be moved or extended later?
In most cases, yes. Modular systems are adapted, extended or reconfigured as the layout changes.
Can you include doors in warehouse partitioning?
Yes. Personnel doors, double doors, sliding doors and access-controlled entry points are all built into the design.
Can partitioning be installed in an occupied warehouse?
Yes. Installation is planned around the operation, subject to access, safety and site requirements.
